Michelle dos Santos is an online copywriter. Her passion for words led her to study at Vega - Brand Communications School where she graduated in copywriting. While there, Michelle won the top award in the Journalism category of the Ibda’a Media Student Awards launched by Dubai Media City; thereafter, working as a reporter for Gulf News.
In 2003 she joined Osiris Trading, an e-marketing company, as an online copywriter. There she honed her craft in writing for the online market: she brainstormed and executed creative concepts, introduced new online marketing strategies and produced effective and compelling online content to fulfil the marketing needs of 12 international brands.
Wanting to expand her creative scope, Michelle began freelancing at international agency, Saatchi & Saatchi, producing radio, TV and print ads for blue-chip clients. During this time, she was also invited to share her industry knowledge with aspirant advertising students, as a part-time lecturer at Vega.
Now, she is working with a diverse range of clients as a freelance copywriter.
