I am a single mother of two. I am currently enrolled in a medical assisting program through Keiser University. I am also trained as an emergency medecal responder. I experienced a renewed interest in the health care field, after spending a considerable amount of time with my husband at Cedars Sinai Cancer Center in Los Angeles. We relocated to Los Angeles from Alaska, for his care, unfortunately he lost his battle with cancer. Prior to our stay in Los Angeles I worked in government, off and on, between being a stay at home mom. I was a campaign manager to 3 senators in the Alaska State Legislature; Jerry Ward, Robin Taylor, and David Donley. I also worked as a legistative aid to Senators Ward and Donley during their terms in office. I have skill and experience in many types of writing, including advertising and PR. As a child, I lived for a brief time in Latin America, I speak Spanish fluently, and have done some work in both translation and interpreting. I believe my strongest asset in this venue is my ability as a writer. I am knowledgeable in travel, language, culture, cooking, parenting, religion, politics, government, current events, and health care.
