CAREER OBJECTIVE: To obtain a word processing position which incorporates my superior skills and relevant experience in writing and editing all types of documents
EDUCATION: Diploma,1974, from R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas (college prep concentration, graduated with honors); Four-year B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern Bible College, Birmingham, Alabama, 1979; Additional course work in Medical Terminology and Transcription from Pitt Community College, Greenville, North Carolina, 1998.
RELEVANT LIFE EXPERIENCES:
I authored a self-published book this year, for which I did all the editing myself. I have also edited two other books published by Infinity, Inc. The author was very happy with my keen eye for grammar, spelling, and syntactical correctness.
I have always found word etymology and structure to be fascinating, and thus I excel at medical terminology. I am a voracious reader, quick to spot and remediate any spelling or grammatical errors.
I am proficient in Word Perfect 8 and Microsoft Word (I have Word 2003 on my home PC).
