Hi! I'm Charles Toefield :D

Are you a writer trying to get your comic art drawn? Has
another children's book illustrator not listened to what your
children's book or Illustration needs?. Do you just need
someone to have a dialogue with you then execute a great
character design? If any of those questions are true then
you've come to the right place.

If it's just doing a one page character design, needing a comic
artist to create an eight page comic, or creating children's book
illustrations for a children's book, I can handle you illustration needs.

Here are my Services:
Comic Art Illustration
Children's Book Illustration (Picture Books)
Character Design

Here is is what a project from me includes:

Free Consultation Per Page: (Per Page)
I'll speak to you about your comic art, children's book,
or character design
I'll gather details about each page.
I'll check with you for accuracy before I begin working.

Thumbnails: (Per Page)
I'll create two thumbnails of your comic art illustration,
children's book illustrationor character design.
I'll grant (1) free revision per page to tie up loose ends.
I'll check with you for accuracy before I begin working.

Inked Pages: (Per Page)
I'll create a finished comic art illustration, children's book
illustration or character design.
I'll grant (1) free revision per page to tie up loose ends.
I'll check with you for accuracy before I begin working.

Colored Pages: (Per Page)
I'll create three color comps of your comic art, children's book
illustration or character design.
I'll grant (1) free revision per page to tie up loose ends.
I'll check with you for accuracy before I begin working.

Commercial Use:
You get to use my comic art, children's book illustration, or
character design on the open market. How fun is that!?

Here is what I'll need from you:
Pay:
This may seem pretty obvious but I used to have a history of request
for "test" or "tryouts" here on Upwork.com. I'm sorry but I'm not
interested in those opportunities.

A Brief/Script:
If it's a comic art illustration page or children's book illustration I'll need
a (finished) script from you. If it's a character design I'll need a brief.
The more that's finished on your end. The easier my job will be. In other
words that means no feature creep.

Marketing Use:
I get to use the illustration work that I created for you in my portfolio. I
get to show other clients what great illustrations I've created for you.
You on the other hand get quality Illustration work. It's a win-win.
