Alan Moult - Animation Director / 2D & 3D
I began working in many different aspects of traditional animation … 2D (Cosgrove Hall etc.) puppet animation. Later I moved on to work in the games and educational software industry. Prior to founding Motion Blur Ltd I provided in-game and cut sequences animation down the wire to Rage Games. Titles included;

I also have extensive experience in new media. My recent 2D work has been created in Flash. Maya is my preferred 3D tool and animation is my strength. I have also trained animators from the TV and Film industry in the use of Maya. Since then I have run a small animation studio called Motion Blur.
Motion Blur Ltd has produced animation for;
• Animation for children’s television series "BB3B" as screened on CBBC’s, produced by Tell-Tale Productions
I have also written and directed two short films;
•“Ciw” (2D short film) for S4C
•“A Cat’s Tail” (3D short film) for S4C was also part of a wider commission by SE3D, sponsored by Alias (Maya) / Hewlett Packard with advisory board members from DreamWorks, Aardman, 422 and The BBC.
