Hello, my name is Bryan “Bear” Baehrle. I was born on February 16, 1989 in Somers Point, NJ. Throughout my childhood I had a passion for art. I would do drawings on a regular basis and show them off. As I grew older, I began to grow apart from art in favor of physical activities, i.e. football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and martial arts. I started doing Tang Soo Karate at the ripe young age of 5; eventually I received a 3rd Degree Blackbelt. At age 6, I began playing guitar and my passion for music overcame my passion for art and took over my life. When I reached 13 I began to grow apart from Classic Rock, Rock, Jazz, and any other genre of music that I had previously listened to. Hip-Hop/Rap began to become my genre of choice. In High School I began to party and completely strayed from art and music. Finally came College and my passion for art was reignited. I started out as a Business Major with a concentration in Management then switched to Marketing. While at school I became a Brother of The Kappa Sigma Fraternity at the Xi-Rho Chapter of Richard Stockton College. In the second semester of my sophomore year I switched majors again to Visual Communications with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Business Studies: Marketing. I am a member of AIGA. This is where I’ve stayed for the longest time. It was a chance for me to get back in contact with my artistic roots. Music is one of the main inspirations for my work and it’s apparent in my work. My favorite genre to listen to while working is 60’s Psychedelia. For more information or to see some samples of my work visit my website posted in info.
