Film Experience
Video Editor – NMSU Astronomy Department, Las Cruces, NM
September 2009 to November 2009

I assisted in filming and creating videos that allow the students to take home their astronomy labs. I organized the footage and edited clips. This was a temporary position for one semester. I worked 30-40 hours a week.
Video Editor - NMSU, CMI Department, Las Cruces, NM
I have edited five 15min short films using final cut pro, in the course of my degree at NMSU. Each film consisted of working with the directors for two weeks on each film with an estimated 45 hrs a week. Primary duties were to edit the video in sequence, color correct and input minimal sound.
Producer – NMSU CMI Department, Las Cruces, NM
Produced two 10min short films in the course of my degree at NMSU. In pre-production worked with directors, writers, and production crew. Headed the location scouting, casting, costume designing, prop master, and finishing all the paperwork. On set I made sure the shoot ran smoothly. In post-production I oversaw that the film was completed on time and ready for viewing.
