Hello, I am a freelance illustrator/storyboard artist currently located in Hamilton, Ont. I am seeking employment on a contractual, part time, or full time basis. EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

Freelance Illustrator, Cartoonist, and Storyboard Artist: Toronto, ON. 2006-Present
As a freelance consultant, working with a variety of clients ranging from independent print and film project leads to advertising agency directors and corporate, in-house art department personnel, providing creative design, artistic and product development services including:

Thinnox Design Academy: Developed and taught animation and carton art summer school program for 10-12 year old students. Designed school promotion package (i.e. mascot and promotional comic strips) on the Thinnox website.

Hooplah Inc.: Worked directly with the agency art director as a concept artist and storyboard artist on several advertising projects.

Bucchanan Group: Created television commercial storyboards for their Brand Power and Zoot Review series featuring clients Midol and General Mills Nesquite cereal.

KIA- Kids into Action: Working with the president and vice- president, developed an educational fitness CD ROM series for children; designed and illustrated artwork for both the CDs and their covers.

Crabby Joe's Restaurant: Collaborated with the company art department to design and illustrate their children's menu

Hiltz Media: Illustrator for an original comic book series currently in development.

Comcast Wireless: Produce a series of instructional corporate storyboards demonstrating a streamlined customer service system focusing on their latest products and services.

Freshly Squeezed Juice Bar: Consulting with the CEO and marketing director in the design and illustration of new display menus.

Illustrator, Graphic Artist and Animator: Montreal, Vancouver, 1999 – 2003:
Working in film, animation and gaming companies, provided services for the development of the following products:

Mercury Filmworks: Digital artist, clean-up artist and colorist on Looney Tunes: Back in Action and Space Jam films, Yvon of the Yukon and Braceface TV shows. Key member of a small team responsible for digitally cleaning up and coloring finished animation used in the final production.
Bardel Animation Ltd.: Key animator ABC TV special, ‘A Christmas Orange’. Key animator for three scenes in this television special.

Helikon Technologies: Illustrator & Graphic artist for online games and interactive children's stories. Key illustrator and designer responsible for illustrating and animating graphics for a series of online interactive children's stories and puzzle games.

Electronic Arts Inc.: Graphic artist & 3-D modeler for game Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed (Released1997). Key member of team of ten artists, game designers and programmers who produced the highly successful third game in the popular Need for Speed series. Role was to create objects such as trees, rocks, lampposts, etc. and scenery such as cities, towns and villages, country sides, farms and vineyards depicting southern France.

Ubisoft Entertainment Inc.: Graphic artist & 3-D modeler for Playmobil video game and created cover design illustrations and promotional art for this title. My role on this development team of artists and designers was to create 3d cgi versions of the entire Playmobil Victorian House toy collection to be inserted into the game.

VOLUNTEER WORK AND AWARDS

Vancouver Film School: Produced a short animated film ‘Dor Voodoo's Hairaising Adventure’. Won silver medal at Huston Film festival 2002.
