Nicole Trist is a Sydney woman with a passion for the written word.
It was during her studies with Macquarie University that Nicole first realised her love for books and writing. Nicole admits that during her younger years she wasn't a fan of reading, but the first term of University was a wake-up call for Miss Trist, thanks to The Mists of Avalon, a brilliant book by the very talented Marion Zimmer Bradley. This was the book which introduced Nicole to the truly wonderful world of literature.
Nicole is now an avid reader with a publishing diploma. She is also a book reviewer and writer, who spends her evenings with her nose in a variety of books.
A few years ago Nicole began a book blog, reviewing books as she read them. She started forming relationships with authors whose books she had reviewed and these authors then asked her to proofread and edit their manuscripts.
Nicole Trist has had the pleasure of working with a variety of people on a variety of projects. Here are some of their thoughts;
"You nailed every single thing I was aiming for when I sat down to write Jetsetting Call Girl. Deeply grateful...unexpected gift from Australia"
- Tracy Quan, Bestselling author of "Diary of a Jetsetting Call Girl"
"I am writing this note to let you know personally that I find you to be a source of inspiration. Keep up the good work."
- Raymond Beresford Hamilton, author of "Identity Assumption"
"Nicole accepted my invitation to read and review my book, "Sensitivity 101 for the Heterosexual Male". She set a deadline for completion and stayed true to her word. Her review was brilliantly written and I use many of her comments when marketing the book. She is a true professional who stands by her opinions. I look forward to working with Nicole again in the future"
- Philip Nork, author of "Sensitivity 101 for the Heterosexual Male"
"Nicole has always maintained a high standard of reliability and conduct... I commend Nicole Trist to you as a person of strong perseverance in any task she undertakes"
- Phillip Heath, Head of School, St Andrew's Cathedral School, Sydney
"[Nicole] handled the work in a timely and efficient manner"
- Paul Pellerini, Pellerini Partners, Accountants & Business Advisors, Sydney
