My name is Christine Harris and there are so many interesting facts that I would like to share with you today about myself. I am an everyday crab, shrimp, and all over seafood eating, Maryland native. I was born in 1980 in Annapolis, not knowing that someday, I would be an individual of ambition and intuition ready to succeed.
After I graduated high school from Meade Senior High School in 1998, my outstanding future led me to Bowie State where I leaned toward a somewhat hesitant career in criminal justice. After finishing two years at that highly acclaimed historically black college, I then transferred to Towson University, where I was seemingly in a world of my own. I went from being at a historically black college to being the only black individual in my class. This was a very enlightening situation for me and I was all too excited to learn and loved the idea of being set apart from others. I finally graduated in January of 2003, earning a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. Needless to say through all of the blood sweat and tears that I endured, I was unable to ever start a career in criminal justice!
After several years of dead end jobs, I finally landed at The University of Phoenix where I thrived at being an Enrollment Counselor. During my career there, I gave birth to two beautiful little boys and finished a long awaited Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA); that was the best perk of working for the university. Finally after two long years the university and I parted ways. I am now waiting to see what’s next around the corner in this great opportunity called life!
