My name is Bill DeJournett. I am currently a music educator at the college level and a freelance writer based in Oxford, Mississippi. Originally from Americus, Georgia; I have lived all over the United States but primarily in the South. I moved to Oxford in July of 1995 and aside from a six-year absence for work in other states, I have lived here ever since. My two great loves in life are writing and music. Travel is also one of my great passions. I have visited forty-three of the fifty states and five foreign countries including Germany and Taiwan. Although most of my writing credits are in music publications, I have also published freelance work in PMQ's Pizza Magazine, Real Travel Adventures Online magazine and the Oxford Citizen newspaper. I am available as a freelance writer for music, food, travel, culture and other subjects.
My writing credits include:
