A love of animals, nature and art is the inspiration behind the creative spirit of Canadian Equine Artist, Maureen Shelleau.
A native of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, Maureen grew up with an admiration and respect for the outdoors, animals and the environment. Her career as a noted Canadian Equine Artist is flourishing along with her whimsical cartoon comic strip entitled 'Off The Dock". A diverse career in the arts reflects in her versatile portfolio which includes traditional painting, sculpture, animation, cartooning and book illustration.
Maureen is currently a Professor of 3D Digital Methodologies in the BA Animation Course at Sheridan Institute in Oakville, Ontario and teaches workshops on Animal Anatomy between freelance and commissioned works of art.
