Whitney L. Walker
Art Director, Graphic Designer, Marketing Brain
Career Profile
A great deal of my work experience has included small, family-owned businesses, so I am no stranger to hard work. In my role as the sole graphic designer, rather the entire graphic design department, of SAGE Dining Services, I exercised my ability to plan, design, and implement all incoming design requests. As part of a small, home office, I was also responsible for filing paperwork, answering phones, calculating expense reports, executing fulfillment requests, and so much more. After starting my own business, I developed even more skills. As a team player, there isn’t a task out there I’m not willing to learn and do.
In terms of design work, visually boring design just makes me sad. At Adashmore Creative I was able to develop visually creative solutions customized to each one of our clients. My experiences varied greatly, from direct mail campaigns for family-owned restaurants, to publications, large format displays, banners, website design and development, and social media management. As I was directly responsible for clients and their projects, I excel at time management, tight deadlines and urgent turnarounds. The business development and networking I did was an integral part of getting the business off the ground.
