Part-time Sales Associate /Webmaster-I was the Key holder for both Nostalgia, and The Painted Canvass Retail Outlet in Southworks Mall. Kept both stores clean and tidy, faced the store several times per day to rotate stock levels of the candy and novelty items that were popular in selling for Nostalgia. Received payments by cash, debit, credit cards, of merchandise sold also took interest in customers likes in product for suggested selling of more products. Sold reproductions of oil paintings by famous historic artists. Maintained the store kept dust off paintings, cleaned store, greeted customers with a friendly smile. Recorded levels of inventory daily-completed quality control checks on all paintings to ensure there was no damage or fading in the paint. Additional job requirements included incorporating my artistic skill and painting on location in the store, this attention idea brought customers into the store. Other projects included updating and maintaining Southworks Antiques main website. Took pictures of merchandise in the Antique Store and uploaded the pictures to their website to display in their gallery.

Salvation Army Store Cambridge ON June 2007 – March 2008

My main duties were opening and closing the store (key holder) operating cash registers, debit and credit card machine. As the head cashier I managed all deposits, the amount of change for each cash till float and balanced all cash registers before each shift and at the end of each shift. Kept the store and change room’s tidy, hung clothes on racks and rotated stock continually, took interest in customers likes in product for suggested selling of more products. Set up promotional holiday displays and auction display antique items. Resolved customer complaints, and answered customer questions regarding store policies. Maintained clean and orderly checkouts and announced specials daily on the speakerphones.
