To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to you in order to apply for the positions of Physical Security Consultant, Paralegal, Legal Assistant, and Freelance Writer/Blogger with your company. Please check my websites listed below for a more in-depth listing of my writing experiences-most of which has been used to market a novel that I just finished and I anticipate will be published VERY SOON (if I can find an interested agent), so I have experience in proofreading, article writing, and creative writing). In addition to this, I have some law related experiences that may prove to be very beneficial to your company, I am very flexible on my salary requirements, as well as my work hours, and I am open to the option of telecommuting if offered.
My background consists of almost 20 years worth of combined experiences in the fields of security, safety, loss prevention, counter-terrorism, criminal investigation, communications, and law enforcement. I have also studied Basic Law Enforcement at the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy, earned my Certificate and Career Studies Certificate in Police Science, and I completed my Associate in Applied Science Degree in Protective Service (with a Police Science Major) from Germanna Community College in May of 2006 (all are located in Fredricksrburg, Virginia). In that curriculum, I studied additional courses in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, I learned how to Sheppardize legal cases, and to conduct in-depth legal research so I have extensive experience utilizing these programs if needed and a tangible background in the law.
Furthermore, I served four years in the United States Marine Corps, and in 1996 I received an Honorable Discharge. In that timeframe, I learned how to be a good leader and to delegate authority, to prioritize tasks, to organize, and I have an outstanding outlook and work ethic, in addition to learning how to “improvise, adapt, and overcome” (in the event that it may be needed). I feel that these experiences combined with my education and training will make me an outstanding candidate for the position (s) that I am looking for, and I look forward to hearing back from you sometime in the very near future, and hopefully, with very encouraging news.
If you are interested in hiring me, you may contact me via the information listed on my resume, and thank you for taking the time and the energy to review this letter and the enclosed information. Best wishes to you and yours, Semper Fidelis, and God Bless America!
Sincerely and Respectfully Submitted,
Gary D. Bunch, II
