I’m a professional writer and a Princeton graduate with a strong background in financial services, wealth management, corporate communications, and marketing, and I have extensive Web writing experience.
From October 2007 to March 2011, I was the chief writer and editor for the Marketing division of the BNY Mellon Depositary Receipts Division, a $3 trillion-a-year international industry, where I wrote both external and internal documents, acted as manager of internal communications, and helped develop the division Intranet. Prior to that, I was a writing consultant for HNW, Inc., a leading New York marketing and software agency specializing in helping major financial institutions sell to the affluent.
For six years, I was the senior financial writer at U.S. Trust, where I wrote executive speeches, articles for the annual report, PowerPoint presentations, client letters, and two-to-three articles per week for Inside U.S. Trust, the firm’s popular online internal newsletter. Prior to that, for four years, I was the senior staff writer at GreenPoint Financial, where I was an executive speechwriter and wrote extensive Internet and Intranet content, marketing and promotional material, and the entirety of the firm's monthly internal newsletter.
Previously I was the Aide and speechwriter to the Mayor of Atlantic City, acting as the mayor’s representative and writer, and I worked as a screenwriter for Columbia Pictures. I also taught English in Japan for the Japanese government under the JET Program.
