Objectives & Strengths:

My objective at this time is to find a job where my creativity, my 20+ years of experience as a very detailed bookkeeper, and my love of writing can come together in a job where I am free to work at my own pace from my home.

I bring a high degree of detailed creativity and order to my work. I find great satisfaction in the pursuit of excellence, and in a job well done. My goal is to consistently surpass my own expectations.

My skill set is extensive, with experience ranging from the retail setting, to being a realtor, to the finance arena, to becoming an artist as a full time commitment. Creativity, attention to detail, the ability to speak and write very convincingly and well, and being able to simply move through massive amounts of work gracefully and efficiently are tools that I have honed along the way.

Job Experience:

August 2007 to present.

I took a year sabbatical from the finance arena to devote myself to my art. During that time, the economy became unstable, and returning to full time employment proved difficult.

So I took the opportunity to make the most of my time as an artist. I have been an “Artist in Residence” at The ‘ Tween Waters Inn in Sanibel, and have had pieces shown in the Naples Designer Show House, The Von Liebig Art Center of Naples and the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in Fort Myers. My art has been on display in various Galleries such as the Wild Child Art Gallery in Matlacha, the Koi & Krane Gallery in Fort Myers, the Sweet Art Gallery in Naples, and The Mystical Moon in South Fort Myers.

My work has been featured in “N” Magazine of Naples, and The Natural Awakenings Magazine as an emerging artist, and I have had several mentions in the Ft Myers News Press.

I specialize in beautiful high end Mosaics of stained glass, some incorporating semi-precious stonework, and in Wood Burnings of very stylized intricate sepia tones. Fusion pieces of these two mediums make for some very unique pieces as well.
