Born in Durban, South Africa I moved to Zimbabwe and grew up there. In 2001 I decided that I would like to pursue my love of animation, moved to England and studied hard, achieving a BA (Hons) degree in Digital Animation in 2006.
I consider myself as an outgoing, enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated person who is ambitious and talented. I try to get the most out of life by focusing on my ability to look at the positive side of things. I work well under pressure and enjoy working in a team mainly because I enjoy sharing ideas and working in a collaborative style to achieve the required results for a TV show or feature film.
I worked on a feature film called 'Avatar,’ directed by James Cameron working with the ‘Amp suits.’ Before that I worked on ‘Where the Wild things Are,’ directed by Spike Jones, and I have helped on numerous films such as ‘Nanny Mcphee,’ ‘Prince of Persia,’ and ‘Your Highness.’ I travelled for a month on my own around Europe and then moved to Norway to further my experience.' I worked there for a further year and was a lead on a film called “Trollhunter.” I designed the new rigging system with the rigger which helped the company speed up their pipeline and tool-sets.
I am back in the UK now. I am also training to be a Private Pilot in my spare time, it keeps me occupied and is always a challenge. Animation is my passion, I am a fantastic artist as well and in an ideal world i would love to do both!
