I'm a 39 year old male who's basically tired and burned out from the 9 to 5 grind and I'm looking for a career change.

My background is mostly in the technical field. Design, engineering, CAD, manufacturing, and general problem solving are some of the duties I've been involved with for the last 15 years of my career.

I enjoy writing both fiction and non-fiction as well as comedic exposition.

I possess extensive knowledge and experience with photo editing, altering, and touch up.

I also have experience with graphic design including layouts and logos.

I have experience with digital film editing including cutting scenes, audio overdubbing and sound effects.

I am also a musician and composer. I have recorded in professional studios and have produced my own music at home using digital production software.

2003-2012 Tooling Engineer, SC Toolservice-
Hired as apprentice machinist to regrind cutting tools for amanufacturing customer base.
After displaying a proficiency for 3D conceptualization and computer CAD skills, was
moved to CNC department to program and operate CNC tool grinding machines. Designed
and fabricated several special and general application fixtures necessary for tool grinding shop
environment. Succeeded in overcoming major obstacles with proprietary CNC function to be
able to program machines to fabricate all kinds of tooling outside the scope of the machines design, including projects which the shop was told was impossible by other operators outside the business.

2001-2002 Screen Printer, Alpz Screen Printing-Jeff Federico, Mgr.
Set up, printed and tore down jobs on Automatic 10-head printing machine for printing T-shirts. Stretched, coated, burned, washed and reclaimed screens.

1996-2001 Engineer, Starr Brand Corporation-Charles Jackson,GM (864) 472-2894
Hired and trained to be spread and cut operator for marine canvas products. (2 years) Promoted to the boat cover pattern designer. Gained knowledge of all aspects of company business. Investing own resources and time, demonstrated feasibility of computerizing pattern designing and creation process using CAD software and plotting machines. Trained and instructed three other pattern makers. Handled advanced customer service situations. Took business trips for the purpose of designing patterns and representing company. Brought internet access into plant. Fixed general computer operating problems. Entered and coordinated product part numbers. Handled any problems concerning special screen printing processes for marine canvas products, including, but not limited to, application of screen prints and creation of artwork.

Trained in assembling, leveling, moving, covering and recovering billiard tables, especially Brunswick tables. (Spartan Custom also authorized Brunswick dealer.)
