Developed and implemented cross-curriculum student-centered lessons in Fine Arts (Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Forming, Clay, Art History, Digital Art) for a multi-culturally diverse population from K-5 including ESE adaptations. Implemented positive classroom management strategies. Participated in grade level curriculum and team meetings, parent conferences, duties and clubs.
Special Initiative Projects:
• Whole Child Education "Alligator Naming Contest". 10/10-12/10
Formed, wrote and managed the program in partnership with DaggerWing Nature Center.
Established the rubrics for the Language Arts essay and Fine Arts composition; wrote the Science textbook vocabulary pre-test/post-tests; made and kept deadlines; arranged for the live alligator’s visit to the school; contacted parents for celebration. Keynote speaker at the event; Public Relations for Whole Child Education/Nature with the newspaper interview. Videoed and edited for UTube.

• Visual Literacy via Computer Art - August 2008-June 2010
Wrote and implemented the ICT curriculum for Early Learners: VLCA. Achieved and enabled 100% Computer Literacy in a student body of 800 and helped improve Science FCAT grades.
