Sergei Iourov was born in 1959 in St. Petersburg, Russia. Proficient in painting and sculpture all of his life, in 1986 he graduated from the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg with a Master of Arts Degree in Art, Sculpture and Art Teaching. He has also won numerous awards in art competitions.
Sergei’s works has appeared in museums, public venues and in private art collections all over the world. His commissions include a bronze Statue of Liberty in Sioux Falls, SD; a fountain for the main entrance of the St. Paul Children`s Hospital, MN,; monument in St. Petersburg, Russia, devoted to 40 priests persecuted during the Soviet Era. He has also created murals for the Lewis and Clark Museum, Great Falls SD; the Kentucky Historical Museum, Frankfort, KT; Wedding Garden at Tequa Plaza , Sedona, AZ.
Sergei is available for sculpture work (portraits, figures, classical, modern, decorative, abstract, fountains and monuments), painting (portraits,historical, abstract, landscapes, murals), design & consultation (interior, exterior, and landscaping.) He is also available for private tutoring in fine art.
