My litigation experience includes bringing proceedings and defending proceedings in all aspects of litigation including contract disputes, injunctive relief and anti-social behaviour orders. I also managed the debt recovery department and played an active role in the recovery of money through the court system. I advocated on behalf of my client within both the county court, magistrates court and employment tribunal arenas not only in chambers but also in open court on occasion. I was also responsible for providing a plethora of statistical information for my client using Excel spreadsheets and formulae. I managed, on behalf of my line manager, a team of 5 other legal assistants. The assistants were a mix of civil litigations lawyers, conveyancers and an admin person. I was also providing my own secretarial support at this time.
I also used my Law Costs Drafting skills to scrutinise and challenge Bill of Costs.
