SOUND TECHNICIAN, ROYAL CARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL
Set up audio equipment required for scheduled shows daily, and strike once complete.
Keep an eye on all allocated venues with active shows, checking in on a regular basis throughout each night to ensure all events run smoothly.
Program and operate digital audio consoles (Yamaha 01V96, DM1000 and DM2000) during events.
Maintain spares inventory lists, and order components according to stock levels, or as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on theatre equipment, including amplifiers, rackmount equipment, speakers and backline equipment.
Be able to identify faulty speaker drivers in a multi-speaker setup, and replace drivers or voice coils where necessary.
AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN, FREELANCE
Set up audio and visual equipment, including; amplifiers, speakers, audio and vision mixers, projectors and stage
Operate a large catalogue of Audio, Lighting and Visual equipment, both analogue and digital.
Liaise with end-customers on behalf of clients to ascertain AV requirements for functions and events.
Identify any possible technical issues and rectify, avoiding major disruptions during productions.
In-house technician for a number of RSL and Leagues clubs.
