General Reporter/Photographer
• Responsible for completing a minimum of eight plus stories per week. Stories includes sports, council meetings, court, general stories
• Responsible for taking, editing and laying out sports and news photos on a weekly basis.
• Covered a wide range of sporting events and stories (hockey, soccer, football, track, skiing, curling..etc)
• Responsible for laying out the sports section (3-6 pages) every week
• Spent two periods during my current employment where I was the acting editor. The most recent period I was in charge of the Leduc Rep newsroom ran from Oct. 15 to Nov. 7.
• Provided copy and photos for the Devon Dispatch, Beaumont News and County Market weekly newspapers along with yearly special pullouts
• Responsible for working at least one weekend a month covering community events in Leduc, Beaumont, Devon and the surrounding area
