To: Whom It May Concern:

I am happy to announce the relocation of my private counseling practice to the Shoals-Birmingham area. I’ve been a licensed professional counselor and board-certified school psychologist with over 35 years of experience, primarily in the Shoals and Birmingham communities, in a variety of occupational settings with eclectic populations of individuals, encompassing a wide spectrum of mental disorder, challenges and needs.

I’ll be providing individual and group psychotherapy modalities to address life challenges resulting from

• Mental and nervous disorders
• Alcohol and drug abuse or addiction
• Family and marital conflicts
• Stress management problems resulting from life-stage and developmental crises
• School learning and/or behavioral problems, K3-Young Adult
• Correctional offenders recidivism challenges (pre and post-release programs)
• Employee Assistance Programs with trauma debriefing/CISD response experience

If you are familiar with individuals who are experiencing mental and emotional difficulties who might benefit from counseling, please consider referring to my practice. I will be happy to consult with you before referring to assess needs and or strategies for interventions. With appropriate releases between the client and yourself, I can be authorized to discuss progress or lack thereof with you.

I am looking forward to assisting you and your clients with “solution-focused” counseling services which will provide them with effective strategies to address their mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges to a purposeful life.
