My name is Eric Harmsen, and I interested in applying for the posted job opportunity. I have two degrees involving music. The first is in Advanced Piano Technology from North Bennet Street School in Boston Massachusetts, the second is a Bachelors of Music Degree in Music Composition from the University of Utah. I studied with Henry Wolking, Head of the Jazz Department, and Miguel Chuaqui, Head of the Composition Department. I have produced one Christmas album of piano arrangements and original pieces, and have composed the score for a movie produced by Lee Groberg and Mark Goodman. When I compose I often combine various styles together creating a very interesting or compelling piece of music. My music has been called unique by many different listeners. Given the time and resources I can compose in any musical style, for any kind of orchestration. I have recently gravitated toward acoustic instruments, but have done work for digital synthesis. The piano is my main instrument. I have composed many pieces for solo piano, and am more comfortable composing for the piano than any other instrument. You can hear samples of my piano arrangements and compositions if you go to cdbaby.com. My Christmas album is for sale at that webpage. It mainly consist of popular Christmas music arrangements, centered around the birth of Jesus Christ. You can get an idea of some of my piano tendencies. But I have a lot more than that to show you if interested. If you accommodate me with you email address I can send you more samples of my work. When I composed the movie score I wrote a piano duet piece called "Intercession." It is mainly written in classical repertoire. It has movie melodies and arpeggiations, that come together in the end in a new key to finalize the theme. I can also record, edit, produce etc. Please consider me as a qualified and interested candidate in working with you. Thank you.
