•C.A.A.S Aviation, La Aurora Intl Airport, Guatemala City, GT –Project Manager for certification and initiation of on-demand cargo and passenger service. 2002-2004 Responsible for successful certification of air cargo operations in Guatemala. Duties included supervision and production of certifiable Ops and Procedures Manuals and certification of aircraft for the national Aviation Authority (DGAC). Required frequent contact with DGAC officials charged with certifications inspections. Left project upon successful completion of certification process and initial launch of service.

Guatemala.
2001-2004 Began, produced and co-hosted Guatemala’s second Radio talk and opinion show. English-language format. From 2001 to 2004, it was Guatemala’s highest-rated talk show (in ANY language). Production of the show ceased when the family owning the 50-station corporation entered a legal dispute on corporate ownership/manangement issues.
•Radio Infinita FM 100.1, S.A. Guatemala City, GT Host/Producer of the Breakfast Show. 1995-2001 Began, produced and co-hosted Guatemala’s first Radio talk and opinion show. English-language format. From 1997 to 2001, it was Guatemala’s highest-rated show (in ANY language).
•NOTINET, S.A. Guatemala City, GT Co-Owner/Managing Editor 1994-2001 The company was created for 3 specific objectives: 1.- Creating of a print-version English-language newspaper, The Siglo News, targeted at the local ex-pat community;
2.- Creation and operation of Corporación de Nociticas’ net-based communications and information systems;
3.- Design and publication of Internet-based versions of Siglo Veintiuno and Siglo News. I started the company from the ground-up as Managing Editor in partnership with Corporación de Noticias . The website was Guatemala’s first fully HTML news website.
•Pinaras, S.A., Buenos Aires, AR, Guatemala City, GT Owner/General Manager 1990-1996. In both countries, the company was the first fully digital-based computer design/support enterprise. In Buenos Aires, the Pinaras managed design portfolios for Ad Agencies and did contract work for El Clarion Newspaper, the country’s largest circulation daily at the time. It had 5 designers on staff at the time. In Guatemala, Pinaras redesigned both the work flow and graphics for La Hora afternoon daily. Subsequently the company was the principal network designer, training facility and original graphic designer for Siglo Veintiuno Newspaper. Pinaras also handled and supported the design portfolios for 53 local Ad Agencies and Corporate Marketing Departments. In 1994, Corporación de Noticias absorbed the company in a Stock/Cash buyout. It became NOTINET, S.A.
•Project Manager for Boyaca, S.A. Geneva, Switzerland 1980-1990 Responsible for overseeing and implementing Infectious/Nutritional deficiency-based Morbidity and Mortality tracking projects for European Pharmaceutical Industry Clients. Initiated, managed and transitioned projects in Denver, CO. 1980-82, Guatemala 1982-86, Honduras 1983-84, Colombia 1984, Argentina 1986-1990.
•General Manager, founding partner, Equipo Aeronautico Peninsular, S.A. de C.V. Ensenada, BC, Mex. 1979-1980 Company founded specifically to deal with recovery of stolen/damaged U.S.-Registered Aircraft from Mexico. In its two years of operation, the company recovered 9 stolen / 5 disabled U.S.-Registered Aircraft from Mexico.
•Owner, Managing Partner, South Bay Airport Co., Brown Field Intl., San Isidro, CA 1976-1980 Co-managed/Co-owned FAA/VA certified Flight School and Flying Club, Sustained FAA 141, 135 certification and Mexican certificaton for non-scheduled on-demand charter operations to Mexico.
