Ryan Patrick Lindberg is published comic book artist with a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Scranton. Ryan currently lives in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Ryan struggled to find the proper funding to stay at the School of Visual Arts as a cartooning major, and was forced to drop out in 2011. In 2012 Ryan found work as a maintenance worker at the University of Scranton with the benefit of tuition remission. The University of Scranton did not have an art program, therefore Ryan chose to pursue a degree in English, feeling that, if he could not tell a story visually, he would do so verbally; however Ryan’s desire to draw never ended and he took a drawing course at the Kubert School in 2013. Ryan was scheduled to graduate in 2019 from the University of Scranton, but took on an extra workload in order to graduate at the close of the 2016 fall semester.
Ryan has done character designs for The Colony Meadery, highschool wrestling portraits and other freelances, while he works on his own graphic novel. Ryan also writes articles on his wordpress in an attempt to bridge fictional characters to the real world, to discover how one can use fictional mediums to reflect and grow as a person, and to open up dialogue about real issues, such as ****** abuse and race equality.
