A native New Yorker, I grew up in an environment where artistic talents were able to develope from a very early age. Received artistic training at the prestigious Art Students League and the School of Visual Arts. Began working professionally at "Andrew Kolb & Son" an art gallery located at 30th Street and Madison Avenue where I reproduced famous paintings. During this time, most of this work was done by brush in oils or acrylics on canvas in the traditional manner. After this tenure with the gallery, I went on to work at the trendy, "Unique's Clothing Warehouse" then located on Broadway and Waverly in the Village with four other artists. While there I mastered the use of the airbrush and made a transition in style and technique from fine art to illustration. I continued airbrushing thereafter and in 1993 I moved to Puerto Rico where I opened my own airbrushing business. Five years later I returned to New York with the goal of working as a freelance illustrator. In order to keep up with with the evolution of the business, I again matriculated at the School of Visual Arts computer arts program. Afterwards, in 2001, I found a job in the animation industry working as a background artist for a popular cartoon series with Cartoon Network with a one year contract and then continued freelancing. I also held a position as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator with a prominent heat transfer manufacturing company as well as persuing a freelance career. I now live and work in Flushing Queens, New York.

Creative professional illustrator seeking a challenging and full-time position with a progressively established company or organization. Experience/Accomplishments:
•2002-2006 (and more recently, March 2010-July 2010): Graphic Designer/Illustrator, Love Unlimited Transfers, College Pt., NY (Layoff due to slowness in business season). Responsibilities: Produced and conceived a wide variety of original illustrations for a high profile heat transfer manufacturing company.

•2005-2006: Illustrator/Stock Management, Pecks Office and Art Supplies, New York.
Responsibilities: Designed Catalog artwork and signage for store, attracting further retail sales as well as customer service. Introduced new inventory for Art Department and organized floor layout.

•April 2002-September 2002: Background Designer, Noodle Soup Productions, New York.
Responsibilities: Conceptualized background environments and color for animated flash sequences for the Warner Bros. Internet cartoon production of Gotham Girls (www.gothamgirls.com).

•January 2001-April 2002: Background Designer, Stretch Films, New York. Responsibilities: Produce renderings for background stills from story boards to actual computer assets for environment art. Though stylized, the stills had to have a photo real quality achieved by applying texture and color manipulation in Photoshop. This work was produced for the Cartoon Network production of Courage the Cowardly Dog.

•1993-1997: Owner of business, Aerografico, an airbrush shop specializing in custom designed T-shirt themes, portraits, car tags, motorcycle helmets, gasoline tanks, and signs. Responsible for own customer service and sales.
