Oteia Bruce has over 20 years of experience in grant writing and manages a team that has developed proposals for over $150 million in funding through federal, state and local government agencies, as well as corporate and community foundations for a nationwide client base.
She joined the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services in 2004 as a consultant and conference speaker for their White House Faith-Based conferences. She has conducted workshops nationwide on The White House Faith-Based Grant Programs, as well as state, local and corporate funding for over ten years. In 2014 she launched a new Crowdfunding platform for small businesses and non-profits that needed to raise funds affordably.
She has also worked as a financial services professional, who has served as a stockbroker, corporate banker, national director, regional vice president and senior vice president for Fortune 500 giants such as, GE Consumer Finance, Citigroup, Chase, Morgan Stanley and Fifth Third Bank. She is also the author of "The Smart Guide to Grant Writing" and "The Urban Guide To Biblical Money Management," distributed in the U.S., UK, Germany, Japan, France, Holland, South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand the Caribbean. She brings her corporate banking, investments and non-profit experience together to help her clients achieve their fundraising goals.
