Hello to everyone,
My name is Kate and I am a college student with a love for art, writing, designing, and much more. Drawing, painting, blogging, book writing, journalism, and researching are just a few things I intensely enjoy. I have found what I love to do.
When some people hear the word “challenge,” they try to become invisible, camouflaged into the crowd, or they simply ignore whatever the “challenge” might be. I am the person on the other side of the spectrum, total opposite. I love challenges. I do not want every drawing, or project I take on to be the same. I want variety; I want them to have their own sense of style and their own unique twist to make them the perfect piece.
I can do a whole range of drawings: still life, animated, shading, real animals, and more. I have drawn animated characters from, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Aladdin, Lady and the Tramp, just to name a few. I like to challenge myself by trying new drawing techniques and drawing methods. I am currently starting to work with paint as well.
I have written one book titled Journey, and now I am starting a second novel. I love to write. I love blogging, making up quotes, writing books, creative writing, professional letters, encouraging speeches, making business cards, debating, researching new topic, and much more. I am great at metaphors, and great at catching the audience’s attention and keeping them interested.
When it comes to me as a person, I like to see life as a challenge. The harder the challenge is the more gratifying and priceless the feeling of completion is in the end. The final project or piece is always worth the time, effort, and thought you put into your first initial idea, which undoubtedly turned into reality.
Here is a small sneak preview, or “quick peek”, into my personal life. Drawing and writing makes me feel free and released from everything that might be distracting me. You have to see beyond what the average eye can see and look further, deeper, and past, and that is when you begin to understand the complexity of your vision or idea.
I hope you have gotten to know me a little better, and I hope you give me a chance to show you what I am capable of.

Thank you and take care,
Kate H.

LONG, MORE DETAILED VERSION ABOUT ME, LIKE MY QUALIATIES AS A PERSON, ETC.

Hello to everyone,
My name is Kate and I am a college student with a love for art, writing, designing, and much more. Drawing, painting, shading, logo designing, animal illustrations, animated illustrations, creative writing, blogging, book writing, journalism, and researching, are just a few things I intensely enjoy. I love helping people and I would love to share my talents in these certain fields with as many people as I can. I am very dependable and I am a great person to work with. I have found what I love to do, whether it is drawing, writing, or designing, I know what I love and what I want to do with my life. I feel like when you do not know what your purpose is in the world, for example your job, your lost, until you find what you truly love. When you haven’t found what you were meant to do, it’s almost as if you are battling and constantly struggling to try to swim upstream against the strong powerful current, instead of following with the flow of the current with ease and enjoyment, which will lead you to where you’re suppose to be.
When some people hear the word “challenge,” they try to become invisible or simply ignore whatever the “challenge” might be. I am the person on the other side of the spectrum, total opposite. I love challenges. I want to be able to use my talents to their full potential and I believe the only way that will happen is by attempting more challenging projects so my talent can improve. I do not want every drawing, or project I take on to be the same. I want them to have their own sense of style and their own unique twist to make them the perfect piece.
When my pencil hits the paper it seems like a quick flash and a jolt of energy of lighting goes streaming through my body, and when I draw, write, or whatever I might be doing, it is then where I feel the energy that was building up inside being released. I feel an automatic connection to almost any project I am working on. I have been drawing and writing for as long as I can remember. I tried to publish a book in the third grade and I have written one book titled 'Journey,' and I am now starting on a novel. Writing and drawing are just so therapeutic and peaceful to me, I love it.
I am skilled in drawing on many different levels, and currently I am taking an art class to help further my education and to get more practice in with a professional’s feedback. I can do a whole range of drawings, still life, animated, shading, real animals, and more. I have drawn animated characters from, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Aladdin, Lady and the Tramp, just to name a few. I like to challenge myself by trying new drawing techniques and drawing methods. I am always looking for new styles that might add some extra flare to my own unique drawing style. I am currently taking art classes right now to further my education and to enhance my artwork. I love learning about art and all the different ways you can draw; it really is endless. I am currently starting to do paint work as well, I have the drawing skills down, and I know someone who is a phenomenal painter and they have offered to give me painting lessons. Therefore, in time, hopefully in a short time, I will be able to paint as well as I draw.
When it comes to writing, all I can say is I love it. I love blogging, making up quotes, writing books, creative writing, professional letters, encouraging speeches, making business cards, debating, researching new topics, and much more. Most everything that has to do with writing I enjoy, for example, I love to write songs, lyrics, and poems. I have made at least three CDs with one of my friends who is a rapper and the lyrics we used were all mine. I am great at metaphors and similes, great with descriptive adjectives, catching the audience’s attention, keeping them interested, and I simply enjoy writing.
When it comes to me as a person, some strong qualities about me are I am an extremely hard worker; I am bright, brave, bold, confident, detailed, determined, diligent, efficient, industrious, knowledgeable, kind, likeable, mature, productive, receptive, responsible, respectful, skillful, successful, talented, trustworthy, upbeat, and very willing. I am a great listener and follower directions very well. I am always open for professional constructive criticism; the more feedback I receive, the better I can advance my talents. I like to see life, as a challenge, and luckily, I love challenges; the harder the challenge is the more gratifying and priceless the feeling of completion is in the end. The final project or piece is always worth the time, effort, and thought you put into your first initial idea, which undoubtedly turned into a reality.
Here is a small sneak preview or quick peek into my personal life; I love being outdoors. The wind’s breeze, all the shapes and shades of the clouds, all the beautiful trees, the endless blue sky, the colorful sunset, the nature, those are all things I call blessings, and I try not to overlook the beautiful and simple image I might have seen. With the dirt, or rocks, grass, or whatever it might be under my shoe as I am walking freely, feeling and seeing all the beautiful and natural wonders in life, it feels like almost nothing compares to that feeling. Drawing makes me feel a similar feeling, just as a runner gets their “runner’s high,” well what I feel I call my “incomparable feelings.” You have to see beyond what the average eye can see and look further, deeper, and past, and that is when you begin to understand the complexity of your vision or idea. You take a mental picture in your head and then you start to draw, and you think of all the observations you made that an ordinary person would not have made or remembered. However, you make sure you put the small smashed soda can that’s lying under the small oak tree, which is a few feet right from a small group of purple and blue flowers beautifully growing out of the ground. I love detail, the more detailed something is the better it is to understand, or in this case, to see.
To wrap it up, I’ll tell you a little more about me, I am ambitious, calm, capable, cheerful, comfortable, cooperative, decisive, eager, encouraging, energetic, entertaining, enthusiastic, excited, fair, faithful, fearless, friendly, funny, generous, gently, helpful, honorable, impartial, motivated, punctual, self-assured, sincere, steadfast, thoughtful, wise, and witty.
I hope you have gotten to know me a little better, and I hope you give me a chance to show you what I am capable of. You won’t ever know unless you try. I know I do not like having the uncertain answer of the question “what if” I only did this instead of this. Please believe in me and give me a chance.

Thank you and take care,
Kate H.
