Tony Acevedo (sculptor)
I am a self taught artist and sculptor, with over 22 years experience. My specialty is dog sculptures, different canine breeds in unlimited poses, including interactions with people, other animals and varied settings. I am skilled in a variety of wildlife and human sculpting as well. My work is included in the permanent collection of the National Dog Museum and may be found on trophy tables at many AKC dog shows, and includes both commissioned pieces and limited edition. I work primarily in clay, which then a mold is made and cast in foundry bronze (lost wax method).
Although sculpting and producing bronzes is my primary focus, I have experience in several other mediums and artistic forms.
