US NAVY (1995-1998) Aircraft Mechanic / Hazardous Material Specialist

• Works with the Manager, Safety and Waste Services and the Hazardous Materials Manger in the development, implementation, and administration of the hazardous waste management program.

Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft records and required forms and is knowledgeable in IMDS documentation. Tows aircraft associated with the corrosion control process. Wears the appropriate safety equipment for corrosion treatment and painting operations. Disposes of spent chemicals/hazardous waste IAW regulations and Military policies. Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety. Operates portable fire-fighting equipment if needed.
