I am an artist with a love for archaeology and history.

As a professional artist I have participated in juried exhibits and festivals, creating commissioned work and selling my work through galleries. I have taught art to children and adults, developing the lessons through self-study and research, both in a classroom setting and privately with individual students. I have created and maintained a website, and worked with the business administration, inventory and customer service necessary for a self-employed artist. I am organized, disciplined, motivated and hard-working, but with a true passion for creating art.

Seeking to explore my love for history and archaeological conservation, I studied art conservation for a year in Italy and continued on to England where I received my Masters’ degrees at the University College London with an internship at the Museum of London. I have spent the past two and a half years at the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory (MAC Lab), a part of the Maryland Historical Trust, which has been an invaluable experience allowing me to combine my ability as a professional artist with my fascination with history. However, despite my love of conservation and archaeology, it has been difficult dividing my time between conservation and art. I have continued to draw and paint wherever I have lived and participated in exhibits and group art events while in Southern Maryland. Moving back to Georgia, I have decided to continue in my art career.
