Brief Bio: Kristen Scott has published in The Magee Park Poet’s Anthology, The San Diego Poetry Annual, Aljazeerah, Today’s Alternative News, and other print and online journals. She has her MA in Literature from National University in La Jolla, California and will graduate in October 2011 with her MFA in Creative Writing from NU. Scott’s essay on Federico Garcia Lorca and the Tamarit Divan won an award from NU in 2009, and has been published.
She graduated Summa *** Laude from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado with her BA degree in literature, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Scott is co-founder, Editor, and web designer, and webmaster of Contemporary World Literature: Journal for the Arts, and co-founder, Editor, web designer and webmaster of Contemporary World Poetry Journal: Publishing International Voices.
Kristen is under contract for a new book; Four Poet’s on the Edge and is currently writing The Key to Everything: Unlocking the Divine in Your Life, due in 2012.
