After being taught how to paint oils on canvas by my artist Nan, a John Constable enthusiast, I took a love to Art at a young age. Myself and older sister encouraged it in each other and would push to learn new techniques and the use of different media.
I pursued it as a hobby and also achieved high at in the subject at school.
When I realised my abilities my confidence grew and started to sell work. This is when I decided to go to college to brush up on my digital skills. After 2 years I had got a national diploma in Graphic Design.
At 25 I am now running my own business as a freelance artist. Mainly painting murals and creating commissions on popular demand. (find KIRART services @ kirart.co.uk or on facebook just type Kir Art in search box)
I have also illustrating Childrens books for EVERQUEST LTD. I have completed 3 books with this company so far and continuing work this year.
I am also a photographer for FREESTYLE MUSIC EVENTS in Lincolnchire, England and absolutely love being involved in music and entertainment with the arts.
I have a young daughter and I really enjoy passing my skills on to her. We always have fun together drawing and painting. I can see a budding artist! she is only seven and has earned her own wall space for exhibitions in Bury St Edmunds.
