I meet with local business owners to discuss their marketing and advertising needs.
I am responsible for a turnkey operation, from concept to completion. I work closely with my clients to develop creative marketing promotions via direct mail pieces, flyers, postcards, booklets, catalogs and brochures. I have designed billboards and have created effective print
and Powerpoint presentations for many area businesses and organizations. I have had a separate internet mail order gift business since 2004, have been doing internet marketing since April 2009, and have recently designed my own magazine.

Marketing and Publicity Director for American Cancer Society Cancer Fundraiser –
“The Finish Line”
I was in charge of creating effective promotional pieces for the event, with a goal of increasing public awareness and participation, and increasing our fundraising dollars on an annual basis.

10 Years - Copps Food Center Senior Marketing Designer
Responsible for all marketing pieces for 36 IGA Stores (Independent Grocers Assoc.), including weekly eight page flyers. I worked with an area photographer laying out the advertised food products, with a goal of creating enticing photos that introduced our sale items for the week in this flyer. SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
Designed a Powerpoint presentation that examined the roles of River Cities Development Corporation, a city paid organization that concentrated on the economic development of our area. It was presented to the business/public at a local high-end hotel. Local professionals were sent invites for a breakfast, the RCDC presentation (given by myself and a local CEO, who was also President of RCDC), and an overall economic view of our country, given by nationally acclaimed writer and author, Brian Westbury. Brian also sold his latest book at this event.

Hired by Copps Food Centers to design a presentation for Supermarket Manager of the Year. After leaving the company, they called me to work for them with another photographer and writer, to create presentation for IGA headquarters. In the spring of 2000, I was notified that Julie Schulfer, had won the competition, again among 1000’s of competitors. I was honored to be a part of the presentation team, to say the least.

Copps Corporation: Created a presentation that encompassed the career of IGA Retailer, Bernie Enkro (Wisconsin Rapids native and owner of seven IGA stores.) I worked with an area writer and photographer to design a history book of Bernie’s accomplishments. This was submitted to IGA headquarters in Chicago for judging in June, 1998. In October, I was asked to accompany Bernie & his wife to Orlando, Florida, where he was awarded International Retailer of the Year. (Competition was between thousands of Independent Grocers Internationally.)
