Using software MS Office Suite including Word Processing, Desktop Publishing, PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator-Photoshop CS3 using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with a Wacom graphics tablet for rendering illustrations I produced giving them a natural look of metal or wood texture for their layout in the graphical artwork I produced for their final presentation. I also used digital cameras for some images inserted into these graphical layouts. In my 1st year I drew scientific illustrations using Acrylic water colour paints and 2B-3B-4B pencils on cartridge paper. I applied research skills in writing essay’s and dissertations including discussions at seminars and in my 1st and 2nd years trained using PowerPoint inserting written and illustrative material with graphic artwork into my designed layouts involving research and downloading information off the Internet for presentation to an audience. During my 2nd year I worked on 3 months industrial training at Clayton Engineering in Blackpool drawing new and updating existing illustrations for manual updates for ventilation systems produced here and converted their line work using Adobe Illustrator CS3. In my final year I wrote a dissertation called, The Historical Development of Illustrative Art which involved research and writing about the development of art from the earliest recorded events in humane history in different cultures, religions and political environments around the world describing arts influence on our social development to the present day
