I am an artists who enjoys interpreting and transferring images and forms 2D-3D and back again. In my teaching I use natural and seasonal themes to engage and stimulate my pupils' interests. The macroscopic/microscopic worlds also interest me greatly, I have a botany degree.
I always start projects with drawing and mind-mapping which helps everyone understand the sequence of development. This also provides a visual vehicle for extension, discussion and promotion.
I have regularly exhibited and sold my landscape/seascapes in local exhibitions since 1984.
I paint commissions
I have run successful whole school Art and Design technology projects using a wide range of materials. I have Forest School qualifications and work with clay, wood, wool and recycled things.
