I am experienced in handling a wide range of administrative, executive and legal support related tasks while working independently with little or no supervision. I am well organized, flexible and truly enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs. Legal Assistant / Paralegal
? Maintain case file index system, client contact and interviews, prepare litigation case outline, prepare discovery drafts to be reviewed by attorney, prepare summaries, timelines and/or outlines needed for cases; prepare family charts, assist with real estate transactions (deeds, contracts, easements, etc.); maintain calendar (deadlines and reminders); work with attorneys to discuss legal arguments or defenses; perform legal research (case law) to support causes of action and/or defense; client interaction to prepare estate planning documents.
? Responsible for maintaining, tracking and entering time into Abacus Law/Abacus Billing.
Executive Administrative Assistant
? Assist executive management with high level administrative support, i.e., preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings while managing calendar, preparing presentation materials, arranging travel schedule and reservations.
Legal Assistant / Paralegal
? Assist outside counsel in representing the healthcare system (med-mal defense, insurance litigation and corporate issues). Responsible for the drafting of legal documents for filing with appropriate entities, maintain attorney calendar and case preparation for mediation and/or trial. Maintain litigation claim database as well as attending and assisting at trial.

Assist Business Office Director with database creation for financial analysis, create database and design analysis reports for unbilled claims to be distributed daily, assist Medical Records Director with creating policy and procedure for medical record submission for coding, and assist Coding Director with creation of coding audit database.
Legal Assistant / Office Manager / Bookkeeper
? Assist solo attorney with setting up new office, i.e., office procedures, telephone, computer networks. Responsible for setup of new billing format using PCLaw and calendar system using TimeMatters software. Draft legal pleadings, prepare discovery templates and responses, maintain attorney calendar, schedule mediations and any other duties required to assist attorney.

? Assist Managing Partner with day to day duties, i.e., legal and administrative duties such as taking and transcribing dictation, file pleadings with the court, answer telephones, etc.
