I have been a Technical Writer and Editor for 36 years mostly in the energy industries but I’m now semi-retired. As an expat I worked in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Oman, East Kalimantan (Borneo), Libya, Equatorial Guinea, Azerbaijan and Newfoundland (Canada). Throughout those years I proofread, edited and wrote all kinds of operational procedures and technical manuals, and produced related content when necessary. I could write several books about my expat adventures in these countries. Outside of technical writing, my first book, Buddhism in Britain, was published in 1979, my second book, Delayed Reaction, was published in 2015 and in 2019 my non-fiction book was published with the unusual title, Me, Myself and Everything Else. If I am being honest with myself, and it is not a boast, I reckon I could write content about almost anything. My writing endeavors can be both sarcastic and humorous and everything else in between. I have an ironic outlook on life in general and it's from this position that I generate content. Of course much of my life was spent working overseas and, back in the day, I maintained a blog covering my experiences. These days I write articles about current affairs, business and economics, and philosophy! I have written two e-books which I sell on eBay. One, is how to make money with the sporting exchange, Betfair, and the other is a 240-page tome on how to make money and start a business.
