I hold a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, with concetrations in English and Biology. I have experience writing in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Biological Sciences (primarily using MLA, CBE, and ACS documentation styles).
My notable writing experiences include:
- Two years tutoring college students on acedmic writing conventions for diverse audiences (i.e. literary analysis, sociological thesis and dissertations, scientific reports and reviews, resumes and cover letters, personal narratives, poetry, and fiction)
- A collaborative project with Dr. Laura Behling, formerly Associate Professor of English at Gustavus Adolphus College, which involved text-based research on WWI poster art, interpretation of WWI posters as artistic and sociopolitical peices, and writing of didactic texts for the museum exhibit "Come On! American Posters of WWI."
