I make promotional videos for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as videos for live events and news updates. The role also encompassed event photography, and management of multiple social media accounts.

Live Blogger and Guider, Oxford Royale Summer School:
My tasks were to take photos and videos of the student’s experiences. I would live update a Tumblr blog with messages and notices. I gained skills in event photography, live blogging, event videography, interviewing. I also acted as a guide, taking students on trips and activities.

Event photographer, University of Sussex: I worked throughout the year as event photographer at graduations , conferences and other events.

Head of News Content, UniTV. I helped to set up and run our news show at UniTV. We broadcast regular live shows, as well as weekly coverage of events on campus. We won an award for our work at NASTA 2013. I filmed, edited, produced and directed news for this show.

Broadcast journalist Intern, three-month internship with TV3 Media Premier, Ghana. I worked in the newsroom as VR and was also allowed to research, film and edit my own stories.

Freelance Event photography and photography- I do a variety of freelance videography jobs involving local choirs, bands and festivals. These usually go on promotional facebook or youtube pages. Most recently I have filmed for the NHS hospital trust and Audioscape, a charity event raising money for Shelter.

Film Festivals

Registrations assistant, Edinburgh International Film festival.
I was in charge of press registrations to the festival. This involved logging press applications, checking credentials, liaising with the press team, creating badges, and sending off press materials. During the festival, I worked on the registrations desk, answering queries, greeting guests, giving out materials and badges. I was in charge of a team of 5 volunteers.

Festival Co-ordinator, Summerscreen Youth Film Festival. I did this every summer from 2009-2013. It involved making promotional videos and marketing materials (flyers, email campaigns, posters) I also wrote press releases for the festival, and contacted news outlets. I also scheduled outdoor screenings, which involved liaison with city council and park officials, filmbank staff, completion of risk assessments, as well as publicity in the form of posters and radio coverage of the events. I pitched to funding bodies to get funding for these. During the festival, I helped run and was part of daily coverage of the festival workshops and events though the news crews and a Live Studio.
