OBJECTIVE
A creative, fulfilling, and educational internship, full time, or part time job writing for a magazine, newspaper, or other venue that involves communication and creativity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently a freelance writer for Go Lackawanna publication, which is funded by the Times Leader. Previous work in both tutoring students in several Communications, English, History, and Psychology courses.
During undergraduate studies, worked and contributed to the newspaper and literary magazine. Worked a co-op at the Abington Journal, archiving articles and writing human interest and feature stories locally.

Full Sail University (2011-)
On May 2nd, 2011, I began the process of obtaining a Masters Of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing.
Marywood University (2008-2010)
Graduated with Masters in Communication Arts, finishing with a 3.3 average.
Keystone College (2000-2004)
Majored in Communications, focusing on Creative Writing and Journalism, was on Dean’s and Honor’s List, finishing with a 3.5 average.
West Scranton High School (1996-2000)
Studied in English and Creative Writing, was on Honor’s List twice, finishing with a 92.6 average, ranked 69th in a class of over 300 students.
WORK HISTORY
Markdown Team, TJ Maxx (2/11-present)
Processing daily price changes on items in the store, as well as work in the backroom with freight.
Freelance Journalist, GO Lackawanna (10/10-present)
Creating feature stories and assisting with breaking news stories in the area.
Department Manager, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet (6/05-2/07)
Managing and training of employees, stocking, inventory, and customer service in 3 departments in the store.
Professional Tutor, Keystone College (8/02-2/07)-Proofreading and reviewing essays and reports from students, as well as going over study techniques for tests and quizzes.
Intern Journalist, The Abington Journal (12/01-3/02)
Writing columns, contributing to the filling of the paper. Reported local news stories, and took care of any telephone or front deskwork that was required.
