I am a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian, and hold a B.S. in Food & Nutrition from the University of Idaho. Food and nutrition is my passion, and I seek to merge my love for writing and health in order to spread new ideas, messages, and information to the public that is evidence-based and grounded in reputable science. I have worked in both a clinical nutrition and public health setting for the past two years as a Registered Dietitian, helping others to reach their health care goals through individualized nutrition counseling as well as taught cooking classes and seminars on a variety of health topics. I specialize in various areas including diabetes education, worksite wellness, and healthcare transformation consulting. I have experience in grant writing and blogging, both for my personal blog as well as the Idaho Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. In addition, I am a contributor for the nutrition column in a local newspaper, the Coeur d Alene Press, and have contributed to North Idaho Wellness Magazine.
I provide services including recipe development and review, meal plans, health and nutrition research and article writing, and reviews regarding diets, food products, cook books and diet/health books, and nutritional supplements. I am also happy to provide blogging services.
