Marianne Coleman has been a creative person her entire life. Whether that is with traditional art, or the performing arts – it is something that has always been a part of her life.
As an artist she has worked in multiple media – from sculpting in clay to silversmithing and creating artisan jewellery, to more traditional art. She has a great love of working with pastels and oil – but also dabbles in acrylics and watercolours. Her sculptures have found homes internationally.
Marianne is a published illustrator having worked on a number of books over various disciplines – from a book of romantic poetry for a client, to a book on soil, and most recently with her foray into children’s illustrations. She is also an author of a children’s story that she is currently working on illustrating.
She has also just completed a degree in Computer Graphic Design, from the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand.
She loves what she does and considers every day in this field to be a new adventure.
