May, 2009- Present: Freelance Writing for various companies and clients, including: Sullo & Sullo, LLP (Houston, TX), Lawyer Success, Inc., My Guardian Angel, Accidents.com, Urban Survival and many other individual clients. I primarily write legal web content, blogs and articles as well as web content, blogs and articles related to environmental/ green/solar, education and health and fitness categories. I have additionally ghostwritten two books for different clients, and have written numerous essays, theses and other academic papers for clients. I have done legal transcription, legal document writing and preparation, and have ongoing projects of my own. I have over ten live Ezine articles and my own blog regarding sustainability.

August 2009-August 2012: Kerrville Independent School District. Kerrville, Texas 78028. I worked as a substitute teacher for KISD in all grades, including the Tivy Child Development Center with babies, toddlers and children from 6 weeks to four years old. I have worked in Tally Elementary, Nimitz Elementary, Tom Daniels Elementary, B.T. Wilson sixth grade, Tivy High School and Petersen Middle School during the school year 2009-2010.

Worked as a paralegal with duties in legal transcription and billing in Timeslips as well as preparing all legal documents and motions and answering interrogatories for the attorney in her criminal and family law practice. All general legal office duties were included in this position.
January 2005 toMay 2006-- Worked as a paralegal for Freda Howard McSwane, PC, Attorney at Law. My job duties included legal research, billing and all aspects included in a law office such as typing interrogatories, filing motions with the Lincoln County Clerk, and transcribing court hearings from tapes. All general office duties were included in this job as well as those stated above.
March 2004-September 2004- Worked as manager for Bonito Falls Cafe. This job consisted of all bookwork involved with a business such as state and federal taxes and payroll. I used Quickbooks for all our financial information such as budgets, and to track inventory. I was responsible for ordering food, beer and wine and all kitchen and staff supplies, taking reservations and seating people, overseeing kitchen staff and waitstaff and all other duties associated with managing a restaurant.
September 1997-October 2003—Village of Capitan, 114 Lincoln Avenue, Capitan, New Mexico. I began as Motor Vehicle Clerk, moved up to Court Clerk, then Deputy Clerk. In June of 1999 I was appointed as Village Clerk-Treasurer, a position I held until October, 2003 when I resigned to finish my education.
My duties as Clerk-Treasurer included: Attending all meetings, taking minutes and keeping official records for all regular and special meetings for the Council as well as attending and taking meetings for the Planning Board, the Cemetery Board, and other boards that came and went along the way.
I was responsible for keeping all financial records for the Village, which included 23 separate bank accounts, all of which were posted and reconciled each month. Many of these accounts were State-mandated which came with special rules. I did payroll every two weeks for sixteen employees, and was responsible for all payroll taxes, as well as 941 quarterly reports, Department of Labor reports and Workmen’s comp reports.
I was the direct supervisor for the Water and Streets supervisor, the Police Department, Animal Control Department, Motor Vehicle Department and the office staff within Village Hall. I applied for grants, and carried through with the grant when money was received. We received seven CDBG and other grants, each between $300 and $600 thousand dollars while I was clerk as well as many State Highway Department Grants for road improvements.
January, 1996-Present—J.T. Liberty Construction and Painting. I have been the bookkeeper for J.T. Liberty for twelve years. I am responsible for all accounts payable and receivable, all payroll and payroll taxes, and any other financial details for this company. This is a work from home position.
January, 1990-September, 1997—First Baptist Church, 420 Mechem, Ruidoso, NM 88345. I worked as the secretary-bookkeeper for this church, sent out newsletters every two weeks, did payroll, and general duties for pastor and youth minister. All general office duties were included.
February 1986-May 1989—Groendyke Transports, Artesia, New Mexico. I was the billing clerk and input all freight bills into the system. Also included general secretarial duties.
August 1982-February 1986—Yates Petroleum, Artesia New Mexico. I was a secretary in the Oil and Gas Division. Duties included working on oil and gas leases as well as general secretarial duties.
May 1980-August 1982—Corona Public Schools. I worked as a Migrant Teacher’s Aide during this time, in grades K-3.
