Yarraville Slage Grinding Mill Project
Contracted to bring the Project in Under Schedule and Under Cost with Good Engineering practice, 3D Design using AutoCAD and Navisworks to complete Design Reviews and Clash Detection. The design composed three sag mill feed chute feeding one conveyor.
Two of the chute require chute to capture any steel fragments which will be picked up by two magnets. These to chute require to be directed away from the head chute to the recycle bins located on the floor level.

Complete some miner back drafting 3D model was used to design check for clash detection and cut sections and elevation for detailing. All three chute composed of the same head chute and each discharge chute were design to meet the material flow rate on to the conveyor at a 9 degree angle. With Good Engineering practice and 3D design and Clash Detection the time spent kept the Project ahead of schedule.

August 2013 - August 2014

Home renovations using AutoCAD and Navisworks software to complete a 3D models to complete design tiling, BBQ area and decking frame and decking boards, brick and carpentry work. Installation of two 5000l and 1100 l of rain water tanks and single water pump, which included the reticulation P & ID and piping layout including transfer pipework between main storage and operation tank, the design composed of using one pump to complete the following: use for reticulation and transfer of water. All designs included BIM for MTO take off to manage budgets and trade running (if required to complete any work) costing and shorten construction time down. Current working on the roof design to cover outdoor setting and BBQ area. All design meet required Drafting and Australian Standards and a complete set of design and construction drawings.

On site Chandala for the design RI recovery operation and conveyor to replace of existing RI recovery hopper and conveyor. This included accessing existing building and road way and existing drainage. The design included mechanical layout front end loader access to 40t hopper and new conveyer. Updating of Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, site plan update and generate a set of mechanical layout and section drawings to match design change. The design included Hopper design, concrete bunker and conveyor with tail and head chute feeding into 8” (203mm sch80) pipe work and isolation valves into a hot bin with bypass system to feed into conveyor system. Civil layout for conveyor and hopper drawing for foundations.

Checking and red lining of design drawings for the following disciplines, Mechanical, Pro-Steel , Piping and civil Drawings for 23klt Activated Carbon Process and re-issuing back to EPCM. This included checking design of two existing Pro-Steel , pipe work and location of mechanical equipment’ i.e. conveyor head and trail chutes, Pro-Steel and piping levels’. Layout on a 54 meter long x 35meter wide Activated Carbon storage shed to access with B-trains and forklifts. Design included B-train turning circles and drainage to the building.

At Kwinana feasibility study Design layouts of process to introduce Lime process to replace existing Limestone process in area 600. Tanks, pumps, hopper and conveyor. Updating Lime PFD & P &ID’s to include into lime stone into existing Lime process.
Plant layout to include storage tanks, conveyor and low level feeder including pump layouts. Included in the design for front end loader, semi-trailer turning circles. Pro-Steel stairway, working platform and ladder access to tanks and actuators. Mechanical feed hopper, discharge chute and pipe layouts for pumps.
