PATRICIA DOKTOR of DESIGN DOKTOR (founded in 1990) is an award-winning graphic designer and illustrator who has served as a guest speaker and judge for the Society of Illustrators.
With print clients including The New York Times, New York Magazine, Forbes, Sports Illustrated, Travel+Leisure, and the Los Angeles Times, she has also created visuals for both television and film on such projects as "Men in Black", "Shrek", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Cool World", "Fire Breather","Ant Bully", and "Hop" for clients including Disney, Sony, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, Paramount Pictures, the Oxygen Channel, and Cartoon Network. She has also conceived and executed Pre-Visual Ride Design for Universal Studios' Theme Park in Orlando, created posters for theatrical events and charitable benefits, and created successful visual identities and branding for corporate clients.
Two years ago, Patricia fulfilled a lifelong dream and appeared on stage for the first time. After performing with Los Angeles' Nine O'Clock Players, she became a founding/performing member of the Pasadena City Players (producing/presenting original musical theatre to Title 1 schoolchildren), and serves as its Design Director (supervising all visual aspects of set design, company branding, marketing and promotion).
