Previously managed a team of technical documentation authors to support the Digital Switch Over program handover to Operations, the broadcasters and Digital UK. Set the team objectives and provide development and support, deal with individual and team issues, carry out appraisals, build and maintain a healthy working environment. I defined content, templates and drafting and review processes, and managed the delivery schedule. This role also required extensive lone travel to (often remote) transmitter sites and liaising with multiple business groups to carry out site surveys including risk assessments for scope of works, project manage on-site implementation and testing activities.
I was the technical author working with a successful Department of Climate Change Smart Metering Bid Writing Team and since winning this contract I manage the delivery of the programme Requirements and Customer Documentation along with training new starters on the supporting software tools

Generated mobile network system training and user documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. This role demanded extensive travel along with the ability to work multi-culturally.
